On this basis, the pioneer and market leader in electric commercial vehicles in Europe is expanding its range of alternative, purely electric drive systems with the Kangoo Z.E. Hydrogen and the Master Z.E. Hydrogen. Together with Symbio, a subsidiary of the Michelin Group, the Renault Group has been testing and developing vehicles with hydrogen technology since 2014.
Range now over 350 kilometers
The electric vehicles equipped with a fuel cell have an additional output of ten kW (five kW thermal, five kW electric), which increases the all-electric range in the Kangoo/Master to over 350 kilometers (WLTP homologation is in preparation).
Another advantage is the short refueling time. Five to a maximum of ten minutes is all it takes to fill the tank in the Kangoo Z.E. Hydrogen or the two tanks in the Master Z.E. Hydrogen with hydrogen.
Hydrogen technology as a supplement
With hydrogen technology, the Renault Group is complementing its current strategy of electric and hybrid vehicles to offer customers extended areas of use and applications with all-electric delivery services.
