Suzuki Ignis AutoSprintCH
With its small turning circle of 4.7 meters, the Suzuki Ignis is well suited for narrow streets and parking lots.

Agile, maneuverable, clearly laid out, a spacious trunk of 514 liters - in relation to the vehicle's length of 4.175 meters - and top equipment in terms of safety and multimedia - is there anything missing? Yes, namely the choice and the favorable entry price: Suzuki offers nine different model variants for Switzerland. And the micro-SUV is already available from 14,990 Swiss francs.

One-size-fits-all engine
The 90-hp 1.2-liter gasoline engine is lively. Its maximum 120 Newton meters of torque are enough to scurry nimbly around corners. However, it is not the best at overtaking on the highway. On the other hand, it is very economical: in test mode, the display showed between 5.4 and 5.7 liters. The NEDC test cycle is given as 4.6 l/100 km (104 g/km CO2). The 1.2-liter dualjet gasoline engine is optionally available in conjunction with the mild hybrid system (SHVS). This ensures particularly low fuel consumption of 4.3 l/100km (NEDC; 97 g/km CO2).

Small but very safe
Reassuring: The Presented at the end of 2016 Suzuki Ignis was awarded the maximum number of five stars in Euro NCAP's crash test. The five-star rating applies to all model variants equipped with the dual-camera-based assistance package as standard (top versions). This includes dual camera-based active brake support (DCBS), drowsiness detection and a lane departure warning system.

In Switzerland, there are six versions with front-wheel drive 2WD and three versions with all-wheel drive 4WD (Allgrip Auto, from 17,990 francs). The flagship 1.2 Compact Top Hybrid 4×4 MT is available for 20,990 francs. A lot of car for little money!
