The new model features a wider radiator grille, more chrome at the front and rear, rectangular fog lights and turn signals with LED technology integrated into the daytime running lights.

At market launch there are three engines
The engine range is now fit for Euro 6d-Temp. Three engines are in the range at market launch: As a gasoline engine, the 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with particulate filter, which produces either 140 or 160 hp. Both are available with 6-speed manual or automatic 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The comfort of the automatic adds 1900 francs to the price.

Self-igniter only as manual switch
The Blue dCi with 115 hp is the only diesel engine in the lineup for now. However, the 1.5-liter, which is only available as a manual and costs from 29,700 Swiss francs, will only play an insignificant role in the sales figures. The lion's share of diesel sales is expected to come from the all-wheel-drive model; the 150 hp and powerful diesel with 1.7 liter displacement will not arrive until late spring, and prices have not yet been set.

Agile and comfortable handling
On first drives, the TCe 140 in combination with the 6-speed manual transmission made a very agile impression and can also be driven very lazily thanks to its maximum torque of 240 Nm, which is available from 1600 rpm. The TCe 160 promises a slight increase in power and torque (270 Nm). The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission fits well with the comfortable appearance of the Kadjar. The steering is rather indirect, and the chassis is comfort-oriented.

No all-wheel drive for gasoline engines
The price list starts at 23,400 francs (Kadjar TCe 140 Life with manual transmission). Renault Switzerland expects the bulk of sales to be in the price range starting at around 33,000 Swiss francs - gasoline engines with dual-clutch transmission in Intense equipment. All-wheel drive will also not be available for the gasoline models in the future; the electronic traction aid called Extended Grip will remain.
