Opel: More character for the Insignia 🎥

The Opel Insignia's "IntelliLux LED Pixel light" now has 84 elements per headlight.

The extra-slim headlights with pioneering LED technology contribute to the new look. The new adaptive "IntelliLux LED Pixel Light" now has 84 LED elements per headlight.

Radar based reversing assistant
The Insignia has the full range of assistance and infotainment systems. The Grand Sport sedan and Sports Tourer station wagon are equipped with a new digital rearview camera. Combined with the radar-based reversing assistant, the system warns of crossing traffic when backing out of a parking space.

Emergency call system E-Call on request
Many other assistance systems such as front collision warning with automatic braking in the event of danger and pedestrian detection as well as a head-up display round off the portfolio. The E-Call emergency call system is also available on request, as is the wireless charger in the center console for wireless charging of compatible smartphones.

Chrome rimmed radiator grille
The Insignia appears lower and wider. The chrome-rimmed radiator grille is wider and features prominently protruding louvers. The Opel flash sitting in the center of the chrome bar appears larger; the chrome bar line itself visually leads at one level to the LED daytime running lights, which are positioned lower than before. This gives it a "fuller" stance on the road.
The sporty combined units of air intakes and fog lamps on the lower left and right contribute to this effect.

Clear and unadorned lines
The same character for the design of the rear: clear, unadorned lines. In the future, the lower section of the rear apron will also be characterized in the sedan by two angularly shaped, oval exhaust tailpipes rather than round ones.
Prices and the Swiss market launch have not yet been determined.
