Mercedes
The seven-speed 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission is standard on the Mercedes Sprinter City 45 city bus.

The Sprinter 45 can be used as a school bus, crew bus, transfer bus or coach. It offers up to 22 + 1 passenger seats and, at 7.40 meters, is the largest model in the series. A sliding side door with an electric step serves as the entrance. As an option, access can be gained through the passenger door, which has been widened and recessed for this purpose.

Seating as required and desired
The passenger compartment is fully panelled, and instead of the standard fabric interior ceiling, a bus interior ceiling is also available. Luggage racks are also available. The standard "Interstar Sprinter" intercity seating can be replaced by the "Travelstar Sprinter" coach seating on request.

The City can accommodate up to 28 passengers
The Sprinter City 45, which is also 7.40 meters long, is designed for scheduled services with lower passenger volumes. It has a capacity of up to 28 passengers and is equipped with a destination system above the windshield as well as a large glazed double-wing passenger door with low entry.

Plastic shells or fully upholstered seats
The passenger compartment in low-entry design is divided into a spacious low-floor platform between the axles and the higher seating area at the rear. The interior is characterized by the bus interior ceiling with integrated LED light strip and the "Citystar Sprinter" seating. It is available in various versions, from plastic shells to fully upholstered seats.

Mercedes
With the Transfer 45, power is transmitted via a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission.
