The DBR22 borrows various design features from predecessors from the 1950s.

The new creation of the specialists Q is a particularly spectacular vehicle: a two-seater roadster with open cockpit and 5.2-liter twelve-cylinder engine, which accelerates the car with a maximum torque of 750 Nm and 715 hp in 3.4 seconds to 100 km / h and then further up to 320 km / h.

Details of the DB3S and the winner of Le Mans
The DBR22, created to mark the 10th anniversary of Division Q, sees itself in the tradition of Aston Martin's Victor, Vulcan and Vantage V600 small-series models. Its design refers to the DB3S of 1953 and the Le Mans-winning DBR1 of 1959.

Notable details include the carbon radiator grille and the hood with aerodynamic horseshoe shape. A production innovation is the 3D-printed rear aluminum subframe.

Properties are the basis for future models

Roberto Fedeli, Engineering Director at Aston Martin with a long Ferrari history, says: "Technologies such as the extensive use of carbon or 3D printing are characteristic of the DBR22. The technology is designed to ensure that the car drives as excitingly as it looks."

And design chief Marek Reichman doubles down: "The DBR22 is a hot-blooded, thoroughbred Aston Martin whose typical characteristics form the basis for many future models."
