The film about Jasin Ferati gives insights about the preparation, life and challenge in the Formula 4...

Jasin Ferati can hardly wait to contest his very first races in the Formula 4 race car from Jenzer Motorsport in Misano near Rimini on the Adriatic Sea. With a tough training program, last year's champion in the German Electric Kart Championship has been meticulously preparing for this milestone in his career.

Jasin Ferati: "The fact that the start of the championship coincides with my 17th birthday makes things even more piquant. Perhaps the best birthday present I can give myself is a good result and my first points.

Full test program
The Winterthur native, who is supported by Racing Unleadshed, completed ten official test days in Imola, Misano, Mugello and Monza with his new team from Lyss in the run-up to the championship. The experience gained was largely positive.

Jasin Ferati: "I had a bit of trouble at the beginning on the demanding Mugello track, especially with my neck. On the second day, however, I was able to improve significantly and finished in the top 10. I knew Imola from earlier tests and there I moved between positions 6 and 12 straight away. I was particularly pleased that there were only minor things to improve."

During test drives in Italy, the junior from Winterthur prepared for his upcoming motor racing debut.

Special format
The format of the Italian championship, which has an excellent line-up of more than 30 drivers from all over the world, promises plenty of excitement and gripping races. Unit chassis from the Italian manufacturer Tatuus with good 160 hp 1.4-liter turbocharged Agarth engines are used.

After the free practice sessions, the grid positions for Rounds 1 and 2 are determined in two qualifying sessions lasting just a quarter of an hour. No work on the car is allowed during the five-minute break in between.

The starting position for the third race will be determined on the basis of the second-best lap time in qualifying. This is therefore of elementary importance.

The points distribution is the same as in Formula 1, but only the 16 best results from 21 races are counted.

Race 1 will start at 2:30 p.m. on Swiss National Day. On Sunday, August 2, race 2 will start at 9:50 am. The last race will not be on the program until 6 p.m.

All races are 30 minutes and one lap. Live streaming and live timing is available at this Link.
