Trophy-R
Laurent Hurgon completed the 5.8-kilometer race track in 2:25.454 minutes.

The Japanese circuit is now the third on which Renault Sport driver Laurent Hurgon has set fastest times this year - after the Nordschleife in May and Spa-Francorchamps in July. AutoSprintCH reported.

Due to the great enthusiasm of Japanese fans for the Trophy-R, development tests were run at the Suzuka Circuit at the beginning of the year.

Up to 130 kilograms less weight
The Mégane R.S. Trophy-R is powered by the same 300-hp turbo four-cylinder as the Mégane R.S. Trophy and owes its further enhanced performance primarily to consistent lightweight construction (up to 130 kilograms weight saving), optimized aerodynamic elements and the uncompromising development of all chassis elements.

For the Mégane R.S. Trophy-R, Renault Sport has collaborated with renowned suppliers. These include Akrapovič (exhaust system), Brembo (braking system), Bridgestone (tires), Öhlins (dampers) and Sabelt (seats).

Exclusively 25 vehicles for Switzerland
The Mégane R.S. Trophy-R is being offered in a numbered exclusive series limited to 500 units worldwide. Of the 500 vehicles built, 25 will be sold exclusively in Switzerland at a price of 63,740 Swiss francs.
