Specially equipped Audie e-tron climbed the "Mousetrap" on the legendary ski course

To master this passage, the prepared e-tron technology carrier used a special Quattro drive with two e-machines on the rear axle and one e-motor on the front axle. In total, the electric SUV achieved a boost output of up to 370 kW (503 hp) and 8920 newton meters of wheel torque.

Drive torque was adjusted
For the special conditions on the Streif, Audi had also adapted the software in terms of drive torques and torque distribution. The necessary grip on snow and ice was provided by 19-inch tires with spikes specially made for the test drive.

Rallycross World Champion and two-time DTM Champion Mattias Ekström was at the wheel. For safety, the Audi was equipped with a roll cage and a racing seat with six-point seat belt. The vehicle itself was fitted with a return safety device through which a safety rope ran. Incidentally, there was no towing device.
