The Bern University of Applied Sciences offers various specialized courses of study. On the occasion of the "FutureDays", the automotive engineering division is opening its doors to interested parties until Friday.

From yesterday until June 23, apprentices from all over Switzerland can obtain information on continuing professional development after completing their apprenticeship in the automotive industry.

Crash tests live
As the respective highlight of the day, Dynamic Test Center AG (DTC) has two cars collide every day. This year's series of tests is intended to demonstrate any passenger-side safety deficits of vehicles in the event of a side impact. This is because there are currently no legal requirements for front-seat passengers, nor are occupant loads examined in the usual consumer protection crash tests.

Automotive engineering course
In addition to demonstrations, simulations and a marketplace with continuing education opportunities, the bachelor's degree program in automotive engineering at the Bern University of Applied Sciences will also be presented to interested parties.
