The Superb iV's 1.4 TSI petrol engine and an electric motor develop 218 PS (160 kW) of system power

Bernhard Maier, Skoda Auto CEO: "Now is the right time for Skoda to launch electric mobility. We can now meet key customer requirements: long ranges, short charging times and - particularly important for us at Skoda - affordable prices. Two models mark the beginning: the all-electric Citigo-e iV as an entry into e-mobility and the Superb iV."

First model with plug-in hybrid drive system
The Superb iV with plug-in hybrid drive is powered by a 156 PS 1.4 TSI petrol engine and an 85 kW electric motor. The maximum system output is therefore 218 hp (160 kW). The Skoda Superb iV complies with the Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standard, with CO2 emissions of less than 40 g/km. The 13-kWh battery enables a purely electric and locally emission-free range of up to 55 kilometers and can be charged at a wallbox or while driving using the petrol engine and brake energy recovery. In combination with the petrol engine, the range is 850 kilometers.

City runabout with a range of 265 kilometers
With a length of 3.59 meters, the emission-free city runabout Citigo-e iV is perfect for the big city. Its electric motor delivers 61 kW and the lithium-ion battery enables a range of up to 265 kilometers. If the energy is exhausted, the battery can be recharged up to 80 percent within one hour at a 40 kW DC fast charger using a Combined Charging System charging cable.
