Renault: The Zoe now manages 395 kilometers 🎥
MORE POWER With the new 50 kWh battery, the Renault Zoe manages a range of up to 395 kilometers in the WLTP test cycle. The engine's power increases to 100 kW (135 hp) and the top speed to 140 km/h. As a further innovation, the Zoe will in future also be able to recharge energy via direct current fast charging. For this purpose, the Zoe is equipped with a combined charging system (CCS) that has two pins for direct current up to 50 kW in addition to the Type 2 charging port for alternating current. In this way, the battery can be supplied with the energy for 150 kilometers of driving in 30 minutes.
B mode enables one-pedal driving
As part of the update, Renault is also introducing a new driving program for the Zoe. The so-called B mode enables one-pedal driving. Instead of applying the brakes, recuperation deceleration is sufficient in most cases. Disc brakes now also decelerate on the rear axle in place of the previous drum brakes.
The new "E-Shifter" can be used to switch between B-mode and conventional D-mode while driving.
The Renault Zoe is an electric runabout for the city. There is room for four people and some luggage.
Assistance systems as desired
Added to this is a redesigned cockpit with a large 9.3-inch touchscreen based on the new Easy Link networked multimedia system. Also new is the instrument cluster with a 10-inch TFT display. Depending on the equipment, a navigation map is also projected directly into the driver's field of vision.
In the future, the assistance systems will also include traffic sign recognition with speed warning, lane departure warning, high beam assistant and blind spot warning. Another new feature is the auto hold function.

Slight changes to the design
Features of the facelift include the redesigned, distinctively profiled hood and full LED headlights with chrome inserts and the brand-typical C-shaped daytime running lights. The front apron with chrome-framed LED fog lights also has a new design.
The Renault rhombus, behind which the power connections for the charging process are located, is framed in blue and given a new hologram-style look. The rear view is characterized by far-out LED taillights and dynamic turn signals. Turn signals are now also integrated into the exterior mirror housings.
You can feel the increase in performance
The higher engine output of 100 kilowatts is clearly noticeable during the first test drive with the new Renault Zoe Facelift. The little Frenchman pulls away powerfully and, as is usual for electric cars, smoothly and linearly. The factory promises 9.5 seconds for the sprint from zero to 100 km/h, and the elasticity from 80 to 120 km/h is supposed to improve by two seconds.
Around the curves in sporty style
On empty country roads, the new Renault Zoe can sweep around corners in a sporty manner, although the steering could be a bit more direct. On the other hand, the clean city runabout takes bumps very smoothly under its wheels.

Pleasant quietness in the interior
The engineers packed an extra portion of insulation material into the doors and behind the bulkhead. In terms of comfort, the Zoe feels almost a class above. Subjectively, this may also be due to the higher-quality materials.
The dashboard is partially covered with textiles, everything looks cleanly finished, every decorative strip is in place. The cockpit has been given a new layout compared to the predecessor. The central touchscreen takes over the dominant part.
The displays behind the steering wheel are also completely digital. Only the knurled wheels for the air conditioning and ventilation can still be operated in the classic way.
... and this is how the Zoe pays off
Prices start at 25,900 francs (Life equipment) inclusibe geschnekre Wallbopx.. Less Swiss premium (1000 francs) and Eco bonus 3000 francs) plus battery rental of 104 francs per month. The contract runs for 36 months or 10 000 kilometers.
The smaller 40-battery and the 108-hp version remain in the lineup as alternatives.
