Protection device in the event of a rollover
For the LC convertible, Lexus engineers developed a textile soft top that takes up the silhouette of the coupe and thus offers a dynamically elegant shape even when closed.

To achieve this, the engineers moved the end of the soft top as far back as possible to preserve the coupe shape.

The fabric roof is said to withstand around 18,000 opening and closing cycles. In the event of an imminent rollover, a protective device automatically extends from the soft top compartment.

The multilayer soft top also blocks unwanted acoustic nuisance from the outside world as well as the tin roof. Wrapped in a leather cocoon and surrounded by the finest materials, you enjoy the drive in the LC.

It goes to 100 km/h in five seconds
Thanks to the superbly functioning dual-zone automatic climate control system, the right climate can also be generated by the driver. It just has to stay dry.

Mark Levinson's fine audio system provides the entertainment in the background as long as the sound of the V8 remains tamed. The V8 cylinder engine should and is allowed to make itself unmistakably heard.

As in the coupe, the powertrain behind the massive diabolo grille produces 464 hp and accelerates the open-top LC to 100 km/h in five seconds. Maximum speed is reached at 270 km/h.

Driving behavior in curvy regions
The open LC's handling is no different from that of the coupe version, and it drives in circles with confidence. The V8 easily unfolds its potential and thanks to the lower center of gravity, the convertible shows its strengths in curvy regions.

The driver is assisted in this by the active cornering assistant, which brakes the inside wheels accordingly during lateral acceleration.

A head-up display is available on request
As in the Coupé, the driver looks at a digital cockpit and is also supported by a well-placed optional head-up display. A trackpad located in the center console serves as a control element for the centrally placed screen.

For the fully equipped LC Convertible, the Lexus dealer charges at least 139,000 francs. The matching weather is not included in the price.
