Over hill and dale, the newcomer is not embarrassed thanks to additional features.

The Discovery and Discovery Sport models form Land Rover's middle class - between luxurious Range Rovers and purist Defender. The Discovery Sport in particular, which now comes with a new body design and updated technology, is also regarded as an outstanding all-rounder. The compact seven-seater - it is only 4.6 meters long - offers space for a large family, but is also suitable for demanding off-road excursions.

Clear lines and valuable materials
From the outside, the new model is most recognizable by its completely redesigned front end. The headlights and taillights now feature LED technology. The interior, however, is even more innovative: Clear lines, high-quality materials and subtle color tones bring the car close to Range Rover models. The 5+2 seating concept with the three-section center seat backrest allows up to 24 seating configurations.

Hybrids, gasoline and as diesel
The Discovery Sport is powered by gasoline or diesel four-cylinder engines that operate particularly efficiently thanks to 48-volt hybridization. They deliver outputs of 150 to 249 hp and are combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
In conjunction with the intelligent all-wheel drive and the various driving modes, the Discovery Sport proves to be extremely capable off-road. The finely tuned traction control systems make it an outstanding climber both uphill and downhill.

Front wheel drive also available on request
New features such as the Clearsight Ground View system, which allows the driver to see "through the hood" to the front wheels, further enhance its off-road capability.

4×4 versions of the new Discovery Sport cost from 46,600 francs; the model with manual transmission and front-wheel drive is already available from 41,100 francs.
