Land Rover Discovery: Ground clearance increased by 43 millimeters to 283 millimeters, while fording depth increased by 200 millimeters to now 900 millimeters.

Despite extensive infotainment equipment and lightweight construction, the fifth generation remains a genuine off-roader: authentic, versatile, powerful and typically British for all its modernity. In the interior, the Discovery takes up the design of its smaller brand brother Discovery Sport and refines it. A world first is the "Intelligent Seat Fold" system, which allows the second and third row seats to be reconfigured, moved, folded and unfolded with minimal effort by remote control. The Discovery offers Jaguar Land Rover's best infotainment with In Control Touch Pro. Smartphones with iOS or Android operating systems can be linked to the system.

Interior: The new Land Rover Discovery offers seven full-size seats with the third row of seats under the slightly raised roof.

Diesel or gasoline engine as desired and required
Diesel and gasoline engines with four or six cylinders are available for the Land Rover Discovery. All engines are coupled with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The entry-level engine is the TD4 diesel with a 180-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder. With 240 hp and 500 Nm of torque, the SD4 4-cylinder diesel of the new Discovery offers higher performance. As a 6-cylinder diesel, Land Rover has the three-liter TD6 ready in the new Discovery. It combines 258 hp and 600 Nm of torque with the best pulling and pulling power as well as contemporary consumption and emission data.

The gasoline engine group is represented by the Si6, a 3.0-liter V6 that produces 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque from six pots thanks to supercharging. For the market launch, Land Rover is offering the "First Edition" special model (3.0 TD6 with 258 hp), limited to 2,400 units, with aluminum decors, exclusive logos, a special color concept and extensive equipment details starting at 93,600 Swiss francs.
