Not only cars and motorcycles are built at Honda. The video shows what else is available.

The road from the Honda Jazz via the Civic and the Type R to the Japanese super sports car NSX is as long as the price difference is large. In this environment, it is hardly surprising that after the facelift of the HR-V, a turbo version is also available at dealerships.

CVT transmission as an option in the range
The Japanese manufacturer is also bringing a sportier engine to the Honda HR-V Turbo, the new 1.5-liter four-cylinder VTEC Turbo with 182 hp and a maximum torque of 240 Newton meters (Nm). This takes the Tubro from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and to a top speed of 215 km/h.
Unless the buyer opts for the CVT continuous belt transmission with seven simulated gears for 2300 francs. The maximum torque drops by 20 Nm to 220 Nm with the CVT transmission, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8.6 seconds and acceleration ends at 200 km/h. The almost 80 kilos of additional weight and the longer rear axle ratio - all in all, this not only changes the values, but also the character. The HR-V Sport with CVT moves quickly but calmly.

Sporty details change the look
The dynamically spiced-up exterior with front spoiler, sills, wheel arch trims, honeycomb-look radiator grille, the inserts around the fog lights in bright black as well as the double tailpipe of the exhaust and the 18-inch tires on specially designed, also black 18-inch aluminum wheels become a commitment of its owner to an alternative HR-V look.
Conclusion: Those who want to cruise are well served with CVT technology. But if you prefer a sportier pace, you should opt for the turbo. The two are worlds apart when it comes to having fun in the car. Starting at 34,700 francs, the fast version is available fully equipped.
