In the future, the powertrain portfolio for the Fabia will include three gasoline engines that are as torquey as they are efficient, each with three cylinders and a displacement of 1.0 liter. The MPI engine is equipped with indirect fuel injection and produces 75 hp. Thanks to advanced engine technology with turbocharging and direct fuel injection, the two TSI units produce 95 hp and 110 hp respectively. More safety and comfort with assistance systems
When driving on multi-lane roads, the new Lane Change Assist system (Blind Spot Detection) warns of vehicles moving in the so-called blind spot or approaching rapidly from behind. The Rear Traffic Alert system monitors what is happening behind the vehicle and warns of collisions when backing up. In addition, a high beam assistant will be available in the future. A 6.5-inch display will be part of the Swing infotainment system in the future.

Even greater variety with new Simply Clever ideas
The selection of these Simply Clever features has been expanded once again. The ice scraper integrated into the fuel filler flap now offers a measuring scale for determining tire tread depth. USB ports are also available in the rear as an option. The luggage compartment now has an optional double-sided floor covering. In addition, there is a removable LED flashlight in the side compartment of the trunk of the Combi model.

The premiere of the new model will be at the Geneva Motor Show (March 8 to 18). The market launch will take place in the second half of 2018. Swiss prices have not yet been set.
