Ford: Look forward to the next Ranger 🎥

STRONG PARTNER The all-new Ford Ranger can now also be ordered in Limited and Wildtrak versions. The new versions of the Europeans' favorite pickup will arrive in Switzerland in spring 2023.

The latest generation of the successful Ranger pickup series will be launched this year with the top-of-the-range Raptor version developed by Ford Performance. In spring 2023, the two other variants, the Limited and the Wildtrak, will be launched on the Swiss market - with a crew cab as standard.

Prices start at 56 350 francs for the Ford Ranger Limited with 6-speed manual transmission and 59 550 francs for the Wildtrak with 6-speed automatic.

Ford Ranger
With its double cab and large cargo area, the Ford Ranger has become a popular pickup truck.

The Raptor is a bestseller in Switzerland
Ford sold 31 percent of the previous generation Ranger in Switzerland in Wildtrak trim. Ten percent went for the Limited variant, while 42 percent of customers opted for the top-of-the-line Raptor model.

The remaining new registrations are divided between the XL and XLT models. The suitability of the Ranger as a towing vehicle also always plays a role. All versions are allowed to hook up to 3.5 tons.

The Ranger Limited and Wildtrack are available with 2-liter Ecoblue turbodiesel (170 hp) and 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Drive power flows electronically controlled either to the rear wheels only or to all four wheels.

In the Ranger Wildtrak, alternatives include a 2-liter biturbo with 205 horsepower combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission, or a 3-liter V6 biturbo with 240 horsepower and 10-speed box and e-4WD all-wheel drive.

Up to six driving programs for every need
The freely selectable driving programs Normal, Eco, Smooth, Mud, Sand and - in combination with the automatic transmission - Trailer ensure an optimum driving experience both on and off the road.

Off-road, the finely tuned interaction of the drive system and chassis, as well as large slope and ramp angles and a fording depth of 800 millimeters, ensure that the new Ranger hardly has to fear any obstacles.
