Ciao Palermo, Monza is calling! A funny short film shows Max Verstappen driving in a Red Bull F1 from the market in Palermo to Mondello Bay, where he embarks for Monza. Worth seeing!

Following Verstappen's feast at Zandvoort, the GP squad headed straight to Monza. In the high-speed temple of Formula 1, the exciting title duel between Mercedes-GP and Red Bull Honda or Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen goes into the next round.

Two F1 races at Monza GP
Mercedes are always slightly faster in terms of top speed, but Verstappen was able to make up for this shortcoming in Zandvoort. So the world championship leader is still not worried about that.

The Gran Premio d'Italia will be the second time after Silverstone that the new race weekend format will be tested. Free practice and normal qualifying will be held on Friday, followed by another practice session and the qualifying sprint race on Saturday and the normal Grand Prix on Sunday.

Michael Weinmann and F1 expert Marc Surer report from the 14th World Championship round of the year. The sprint race on Saturday from 4 p.m., the race on Sunday from 2.50 p.m. live on SRF info.

The two Alfa Romeo Sauber of Giovinazzi and Kubica, who replaces Kimi Räikkönen (Corona) once again, appear in Monza in special Italo livery.

Decision in the Porsche Supercup
The Porsche Supercup and the FIA Formula 2 race in conjunction with Formula 1. After the cancellation of the trip to the US GP in Austin, the Porsche drivers are already holding their last two races of the season.

Six drivers are still eligible for the title, but none from Fach Auto Tech. For the team from Sattel, it is the last opportunity to conclude the 2021 Supercup with at least a podium from Christopher Zöchling, Marius Nakken or Fabio Scherer.

Ralph Boschung is also aiming for his first ever podium in FIA Formula 2, which, like the two Supercup races (Saturday from 6.20 p.m. and Sunday from 12.30 p.m.), can only be seen live on Sky Sport F1 and later on a time-delayed basis on Eurosport TV or its YouTube channels.

The cars from the Supercup line up in the Monza paddock for the final races. In the foreground with #8 the specialist Porsche of Fabio Scherer.

Two Swiss in the GT title race
After two months of forced break - Nürburgring fell victim to the flood disaster in July - the German GT Championship, which is held as part of the ADAC GT Masters, continues its season. The starting position at the Lausitzring is very exciting: The top six pairings are separated by just 15 points.

With Ricardo Feller (Audi) in intermediate third place, who last won a race at Zandvoort with partner Christopher Mies, and Jeffrey Schmidt in fifth place, who previously clinched a first and third place at Spielberg with Marvin Kirchhöfer in the Callaway Corvette, two Swiss are more pleasingly well in the title race.

Fans will have access to the paddock, pitwalk and autograph session for the first time since 2019. Those staying at home can watch the two GT races live on NITRO on free TV from 4 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday. In the livestream they are available at adac.de/motorsport and TVNOW.com  to watch. Germany's leading streaming platform also shows all races of the ADAC GT4 Germany, the ADAC TCR Germany and the ADAC Formula 4 in a free stream.

The Lausitzring with its winding curves in the first sector is always good for spectacular GT and other races.

Nürburgring world premiere of the BMW M4 GT3
With the traditional 6-hour race, the season highlight of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (formerly VLN) is on the agenda on Saturday after a two-month summer break.

The provisional list of participants includes 143 cars of various stripes, some of which are manned by Swiss drivers. This delegation is headed by professional Manuel Metzger in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 and series winner Frédéric Yerly in a VW Golf GTI TCR.

This race marks the first time a BMW M4 GT3 has been entered in competition. Classified in the special SPX class, the Munich-based company's new GT flagship offers significant improvements over its M6 predecessor in terms of drivability, cost efficiency and handling. The drivers are Philipp Eng and Augusto Farfus.

As usual, the elaborately produced livestream can be viewed on a TV set or laptop from 8:30 a.m. (race starts at 12 p.m.) on VLN.com, YouTubeFacebook and Twitch.tv track

BMW Motorsport is opening a new chapter in motorsport with the M4 GT3.

Special ambitions of Saucy and Stucki
Those who still have enough motorsport can also watch the Renault races from the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on YouTube. In Formula Regional by Alpine, Grégoire Saucy from the Jura region wants to extend his lead in the standings - he can't lose it anyway thanks to the points advantage he has accumulated.

The other three Swiss Léna Bühler, Jasin Ferati and Axel Gnos at least want to score their first points. The first race over 30 minutes plus one lap starts on Saturday at 13:35, the second on Sunday at 12:50. Both are on this YouTube channel  to track.

The only Swiss in the Clio Cup Europe field is Andreas Stucki. The goal of the garage owner from Schmerikon is to jump into the top 10 of the overall standings and the podium in category C (Central Europe).

Race 1 will be held on Saturday from 14.25 under this Link broadcast, race 2 on Sunday from 4.10 p.m. under this Link and both on the Facebook page from Renault Sports.

Andreas Stucki greets AutoSprintCH online readers from the Red Bull Ring. At least on the race track, he has no intention of sticking to this speed limit...
