Porsche: Even faster on the circuit 🎥

PERFORMANCE Porsche offers a Manthey kit for the 718 Cayman GT4 RS that is specially optimized for use on circuits. The 500-hp car lapped the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring with it in 7:03.121 minutes.

The new kit was developed specifically for track days and in close collaboration between Porsche Motorsport engineers and the Nordschleife specialists at Manthey in Meuspath. The retrofittable, road-legal components are sold through the Porsche Centers.

With the new kit, the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS is exactly 6.179 seconds faster than without. The aerodynamic and chassis components in particular are modified. In addition, brake pads specially designed for circuit racing are also available as an option.

Porsche and Nürburgring specialist Manthey make the Cayman GT4 RS even significantly faster with the new kit.

Almost double contact pressure

At the front, flaps and air curtains with wheel arch gurney and a new carbon underbody with diffusers improve downforce, while the rear wing, which has been widened by 85 millimeters, increases downforce at the rear axle. It is adjustable in four stages. To withstand the increased aerodynamic forces, the body frame of the rear lid has been reinforced with exposed carbon. The aerodiscs on the rear wheels, also made of CfK, reduce turbulence at the rear. At 200 km/h, total downforce increases from 89 to 169 kilograms in the performance position of the rear wing.

Adjustable coilover suspension

The spring struts of the adaptable coilover suspension are four-way adjustable, and the rebound and compression damping can be adjusted without tools. The spring rates on the front axle have been increased by 20 percent. A set of brake lines with steel jackets comes as standard. This guarantees an exact pressure point and thus ensures optimum brake control. The performance is also visually underlined by the optional wheel arch vents made of visible carbon in the front fenders.

The price for the Manthey kit is shown in the accessory finder (tequipment-finder.porsche.com). In Europe, the market launch is planned for December 2023.
