Lotus: From the road to the racetrack 🎥

FOR RACERS ONLY Lotus revives its commitment to racing with the Emira GT4. The hand-built vehicle, which was created in collaboration with the RML Group, represents a milestone in the brand's reorientation.

The Emira GT4 is the new lightweight development from the English manufacturer Lotus.

The Emira GT4 represents Lotus' new start in GT racing. The 4.41-meter-long, 1260-kilogram car is powered by a mid-mounted, Harrop supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 405 hp. This power is pounded onto the track via a 6-speed xTrac transmission combined with a limited-slip differential.

The development partner for the Emira, which was presented for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, is the RML Group.

Ready to race as early as next year
Like the Elise, Exige and Evora models, the new Emira is available in both road and racing versions. The Emira GT4 will soon make its official debut on the 3.5-kilometer in-house circuit at Lotus headquarters in Hethel, England.

A small series will then be made available for the 2022 season, and production could be ramped up further for 2023. Prices are available on request.
