Auto Sport Switzerland had invited - and almost all of them came. One day after the Swiss automobile champions were honoured at the prestigious Bellevue Palace in Bern, the hosts Fredy Lienhard jr. and sr. created the perfect atmosphere for the kart drivers at their "autobau erlebniswelt" in Romanshorn. Anyone who wanted to could take part in a guided tour of Switzerland's largest collection of racing cars before the prize-giving ceremony.

So that they don't just remain dreams
Some of the juniors started dreaming at the sight of various Formula 1 cars and other racing vehicles. For many kart drivers, the goal is to one day make a career in international racing. As a sponsor of the Swiss Kart Championship, autobau is making a contribution towards achieving this goal.

Thanks to this sponsorship, every driver who signs up for the entire karting season in 2020 will again be able to enjoy two "free races". That's CHF 600 per driver - a tidy sum in a sport in which it is often not easy for young drivers to raise the necessary funds.

Money and watches
In addition to numerous trophies, the Swiss karting elite also accepted the prize money of CHF 30,000 sponsored by TCS and watches from partner Formex worth a total of CHF 6,000.

Super Mini driver Cedric Malk received a special award: he was presented with the Fair Play trophy by NSK President Andreas Michel for his exemplary behavior during a collision in Levier.

The three ladies with the most points on their accounts: from left Isabelle von Lerber (runner-up KZ2), Léna Bühler (3rd X30 Challenge) and Ekaterina Lüscher (8th OK Junior).
