The engineering team responsible for the I-Pace has given the Vision GT Coupé a special sound.
In the virtual gaming world, the coupe delivers 750 kW (1200 hp) and 1200 newton meters of torque - enough to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in under two seconds.
The design of the model had sources of inspiration such as a Le Mans winning Type C and D. The technical basis is provided by the Jaguar I-Type 4 of the ABB FIA Formula E and the car racing in the I-Pace eTrophy.
Retractable rear wing
Jaguar's racing past influence is evident in the Vision GT Coupe's striking exterior lines and powerfully sculpted fenders.
The Vision GT Coupé, for example, also features a retractable rear wing that improves energy efficiency at high speed while significantly increasing downforce.
Sophisticated lightweight construction
The virtual electric sports car is made of experimental lightweight materials with a light and rigid carbon fiber composite monocoque and aluminum as a solid base frame. The sophisticated lightweight construction makes a weight of 1400 kilograms and an almost balanced 50:50 axle load distribution possible.
