The adventure rally, exclusively for Fiat Panda built in 2003 and older, led from the Spanish capital Madrid to Marrakech in Morocco.

Cross 4×4 as a security vehicle
The real adventure after the start in Madrid on began in Morocco. The caravan reached Marrakech via Bel-Frissate, Ksar Maadid, Merzouga, Tazoulait and Tansikht. The classic Fiat Panda was accompanied by the current Fiat Panda Cross 4×4. The current model of the compact off-roader served as a backup vehicle and pulled many a participant out of the dune sand.

The Cross 4×4 is also an off-roader with the dimensions of a city car, a ground clearance increased by 2.2 centimeters, a slope angle of 24 degrees at the front and 34 degrees at the rear, and a ramp angle of 21 degrees. The electronically controlled 4×4 drive provides three operating modes.

Number 1 in Italian statistics
With a total of 7.5 million vehicles sold in Europe over the past 15 years, the Fiat Panda is one of the best-selling vehicles in the segment. In its home country of Italy, it has even led this statistic since 2012.

The Panda was not only the first four-wheel drive vehicle in the segment (1983), it was also the first city car to be named "Car of the Year" (2004) and to reach the mountaineers' base camp on Mount Everest at an altitude of 5200 meters (2004).

In 2013, the Fiat Panda introduced City Emergency Brake Assist to the segment. Last year, the Panda Waze with complete connectivity proved that the former great car is still up to date.
