Bucherer: Now a Lamborghini all in blue

THE CLOCK TO THE CAR If you're going on a journey from Terminal 2 of Zurich Airport, then you should take a short break. The reason is a matt blue Lamborghini. Lamborghini
The Lamborghini Aventador S Blue Edition is on display for a month at Zurich Airport in Terminal 2.

The Roger Dubuis watch brand is part of the range at Lucerne-based watch and jewelry company Bucherer, and since the beginning of 2018 has maintained a partnership with the Lamborghini Squadra Corse motorsport division, which has already resulted in one watch model (a Roger Dubuis Excalibur Aventador S, made from the same carbon that Lamborghini uses in its sports cars).

Harley Blue Edition was the beginning
At Bucherer had started in 2016 to launch Blue (the house color) Edition, which were originally only watches made as special models by various watch companies with blue accents. Roger Dubuis was to contribute the 30th and the 31st Blue Edition watches to the collection, bringing Lamborghini on board was just a logical step. As early as May 2018, a Harley Blue Editionbuilt by Bündnerbike (AutoSprintCH reported) added the first object on wheels, a motorcycle.

Starter made of white gold and precious stones
Now Lamborghini has built an Aventador S super sports car painted in a matte blue shade called Blu Kairos, which was developed especially for this car. The lettering "Blue Edition" has been integrated in various places in the car, and the fabric of the seats bears the number 8, a tribute to Bucherer's founding year of 1888. The Aventador is started up via a white gold flap decorated with precious stones; the sapphires that were inserted there are 7.47 carats after all.
