The sporty Kodiaq RS stands out on the road with noticeably more temperament and more agile driving dynamics.

Since its market launch in 2017, the Kodiaq has been one of Skoda's bestsellers. To ensure that the spacious, 4.7-meter-long SUV remains up to date both visually and technically, it has now received an all-round makeover.

Of course, all the essential characteristics of the vehicle have been retained.

Kodiaq
The drive variants of the new Kodiaq with 320 and 400 Nm ensure good traction during scrambles and steep passages.

The facelift is missed on the hood
The new exterior of the facelifted Kodiaq, which is available as a five- or seven-seater, can be recognized by the hood, radiator grille, bumpers, headlights and glossy black roof spoiler with finlets.

Inside, the revised model now features decorative stitching on the door panels and dashboard. Also new are the 10-inch virtual cockpit as an option and the infotainment system with 9.2-inch screen.

In terms of equipment, Skoda differentiates between Ambition, Style, Sportline, L&K. At the same time, an RS variant is again offered: especially with progressive steering, Dynamic Chassis Control, red brake calipers, 20-inch wheels and a rear diffuser with two visible tailpipe trims.

Dual-clutch transmission only with all-wheel drive
As before, the Kodiaq is powered by gasoline and diesel engines - in Switzerland exclusively in combination with dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.

The entry-level Ambition version features the 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 150 hp and 250 Nm, while Style, Sportline and L&K offer a choice of 2.0 TSI with 190 hp and 320 Nm and 2.0 TDI with 200 hp and 400 Nm. The top spot is held by the new RS with 2-liter gasoline engine and 245 hp. Its position as the top model in the range is underlined by a synthetically grafted engine sound.

Travel Assist with up to eight systems on offer
Skoda has further expanded its range of assistance systems. The proactive occupant protection system, for example, detects impending crash hazards in advance and also reacts to following vehicles thanks to radar sensors.

Travel Assist includes five to eight assistance systems, such as the predictive adaptive distance assistant, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition. And of course numerous Simply Clever solutions are again on board.

Prices range from 44 640 Swiss francs (Ambition 150 hp) to 54 070 Swiss francs (L&K 190 hp). 56,600 francs are due for the RS.
