O-iO is a vintage car party, with or without vintage cars, and a celebration for the whole family. You can see everything that once rolled over the road: cars (including a steam car), trucks, buses, postbuses, tractors, motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, bicycles (penny-farthings). Many participants and spectators also dressed to match the vintage cars.
Procedure
On Saturday, May 14, the classic cars will arrive in Sarnen from about 9:30 am. At 11:15 a.m. a 2-wheeled parade will drive through Sarnen. From 13:45 to 14:45 the spectators are invited for passenger rides. At 3:15 p.m., the vintage cars will depart for the Event Center Seelisberg. Spectators in Sarnen can enjoy a concert.
On Whitsunday, May 15, the vintage cars will arrive in Sarnen from about 9:00 am. From 10:00 they will start to Beromünster. The first classic cars will also be in Beromünster from 10:00.
Admission for spectators is free of charge.
