Amag established the Family Business Award in honor of its founder and patron Walter Haefner. The award is given to particularly responsible and entrepreneurial family businesses from Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. A ten-member jury is responsible for selecting the winning company.

Three Swiss family businesses in the final
At a festive awards ceremony in the Kursaal in Bern, the winning company 2021 was chosen. Three family-owned companies were in the running as finalists: Hobet AG from Oberkirch, Killer Interior AG from Lupfig and Zenhäusern Frères SA from Sion. In the end, Killer Interior AG emerged as the winner in front of more than 260 guests.

The company was founded in 1936 and employs around 70 people. Marco Killer is the owner and chairman of the board of directors in the third generation. Since 2016, the company has been operationally managed by Thomas Würtenberger.

Purely electric Audi Q4 e-tron for the finalists
All three of this year's finalists received a Family Business Award certificate attesting to their particularly sustainable entrepreneurial activities.

In addition, the companies were presented with a new Audi Q4 e-tron, which will accompany the finalists for a year. As this year's winning company, Killer Interior AG also gets to keep the vehicle.
