This is more than just symbolism: With "Quickpac - Same Day Delivery", Quickmail AG makes a promise that the delivery of parcels to the doorstep is not only fast, but also environmentally friendly, noiseless and cost-conscious.
Delivery in several cantons
The all-electric Renault Kangoo Maxi Z.E. meets this requirement, while Renault Suisse SA and Garage Galliker Mittelland AG Schönbühl as sales partners contribute the know-how for equipping and operating the electric vehicle fleet.
The vehicles are stationed at the Winterthur and Hägendorf depots. From there, Quickpac delivers to households in the cantons of Zurich, Thurgau, Solothurn and Basel-Landschaft.
Charging between tours
Thomas Ulmann, responsible at Quickpac for the procurement of the vehicles: "We drive two tours per day, one in the morning and one in the early evening, until nine o'clock in the evening, with 40 to 120 kilometers per delivery tour. In between, there is time to charge the batteries and load the vehicles" It could hardly be more perfect and sustainable.
