Test drives
During non-contact test drives, important parts of the vehicle should be disinfected.

After allowing the online sale and delivery of vehicles in compliance with hygiene requirements despite the "exceptional situation", the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Seco) confirmed that garages are also allowed to offer test drives for their customers under certain conditions. This is because there is nothing wrong with contactless test drives using key box systems and complying with the relevant hygiene regulations and precautionary measures of the FOPH.

Gloves and steering wheel protectors
For these contactless test drives, the AGVS strongly advises its garage owners to also follow the tips of the BAZ industry solution and to disinfect vehicle keys, steering wheels, door latches, gearshift levers, belt buckles, touch screens and fuel filler caps when taking back the vehicle. It is also advisable to use disposable steering wheel protectors and protective material for the seat and gearshift lever, or to provide customers with disposable gloves.
