Only four brands still in the black in Switzerland
The statistics on changes of ownership show that almost all car brands are affected by the declining figures. The leader, VW, for example, recorded a drop of more than 13 percent, and only Cupra, Dacia, Kia and Tesla are still in the black. We can only speculate about the reasons for the declining figures. The experts at Auto-i-dat suspect that the war in Ukraine and the associated uncertainty among buyers are partly responsible.

René Mitteregger: "In addition, there are still far fewer newer used cars, which of course changes the range of used cars on offer. We are convinced that the sales prices published at the moment are too high and will have to be corrected downward in the near future, so that the trade will then flourish again."
