Under new management into the New Year: Hans Schori has handed over the helm to his son Yves Meyer and Joshua Reynolds (left).

In 2002, Hans Schori took over the Laui gravel pit at the entrance to Seelisberg. He was given permission to hold driver safety training courses on this site.

Today, the event and road safety center high above Lake Lucerne is one of the country's most attractive training and further education facilities for drivers.

Gasoline in the blood
After 17 years, Schori has handed over the Eventcenter Seelisberg to younger hands. Joshua Reynolds and Yves Meyer have been in charge since New Year 2019. Reynolds, who lives in neighboring Emmetten, was already working at the event center, where Schori's son Yves Meyer is in charge of courses and marketing.

Like Schori (Swiss Touring Car Hillclimb Champion 2011), both have petrol in their blood and race cars in their spare time. Joshua C. Reynolds, who is just 22 years old, took part in the Junior Hillclimb Championship in 2017 and switched to the ADAC TCR Germany in 2018. The 27-year-old Yves Meyer specializes in drifting and celebrated his greatest success to date in November as runner-up in the FIA Intercontinental Drifting Cup.

Quieter times for the company founder
At the age of 58, the current owner is looking forward to a new and quieter phase in his life.

Hans Schori: "It was important to me to arrange the succession in good time and give young professionals the opportunity to set up and manage their own business. I am now looking forward to enjoying my free time with my wife and not having a fixed workload in the coming months."

Popular activities in the winter Evencenter: Winter drifting with quads and karts.

Versatile offer
All employees - There are currently more than 40 employees on the payroll - will continue to be employed. The local-regional character of the event center is also to be retained.

The Seelisberg Event Center offers basic and advanced training courses for all categories of driving license. There are also driving events, test drives and driving tests. Fun and sporting events also have their place. WAB courses and presentations by car importers also take place on a regular basis.
