At the largest celebration in the education sector of the automotive industry, the newly trained professionals received their professional certificates. They were honored for their achievements as graduates of the professional examinations for automotive diagnosticians and automotive workshop coordinators.

Automotive world as a destination

Charles-Albert Hediger, member of the AGVS Central Board: "We congratulate everyone on this extraordinary achievement and hope that the young professionals continue to find their destiny in the automotive world and successfully make their way."

Barbara Germann, also a member of the AGVS Central Board, has also been concerned about young talent for many years. She says it is important to pass on the knowledge they have acquired to their colleagues in order to achieve top performance together. The technology in the industry is developing rapidly towards increasingly autonomous and electrically powered cars.

Special honors were given to the graduates who shone with top grades. Andrea Bianchini from Ticino and Roman Weber from German-speaking Switzerland achieved a grade of 5.5 in the automotive diagnostics for passenger cars category.

Financial support for the start

Furthermore, ESA also set an example for the next generation in the evening. The purchasing organization for the automotive and motor vehicle industry has been committed to education and training in the industry for decades. Olivier Maeder, member of the AGVS Executive Board, received a check for 20,000 Swiss francs from Thomas Huber, member of the ESA Executive Board.
