Alfa Romeo: Care program for the classics
CULTURAL HERITAGE The new Alfa Romeo Classiche program includes customized services for the preservation, maintenance and documentation of classic models of the tradition-rich Italian brand.
Alfa Romeo is officially presenting the Alfa Romeo Classiche program as part of the Auto e Moto d'Epoca classic car show, which is being held in Padua, northern Italy, until October 23. This comprehensive care program for classic Alfa models offers various certificates as well as repair and restoration services. The offer was developed in close collaboration with the Stellantis Group's Heritage Department.
The Certification Commission is headed by Jean Philippe Imparato, CEO of Alfa Romeo, together with the Head of the Heritage Department from the Alfa Romeo Factory Museum, where the production registers and technical documentation from the history of the brand are kept. The main components of the program are the Certificate of Origin as well as the Certificate of Authenticity and comprehensive restoration services.
Configuration for each vehicle
Alfa Romeo offers the possibility of discovering the history of each vehicle through its chassis number. The service provides for a check of the documents in the production registers of the brand and the issuance of a certificate attesting to the year of manufacture and the original configuration of the vehicle: Model specifications, engine serial number, original body details.
Detailed analysis for all models
The basis of the certificate of authenticity is a detailed analysis of the model, verification of the production data and comparison with the technical specifications documented in the archive at the time of delivery. Based on this evaluation, Alfa Romeo, with the support of the Heritage Department, certifies the authenticity of the classic car.
Restorations for private customers
The same team that looks after the collection of historic vehicles is also available to private customers for restorations. The services offered range from simple maintenance to complete restoration, from diagnosis to restoration of the bodywork or repair of individual vehicle components to final inspection.
