Kangoo Z.E.
A tank of the Kangoo Z.E. Maxi Hydrogen currently costs around 20 francs in Switzerland.

Sustainable technology turns the Kangoo Z.E. Maxi Hydrogen into an electric delivery vehicle that runs on electricity from 100 percent renewable energy sources, is fueled in five minutes, and emits water vapor instead of exhaust fumes.

370 kilometers combined range
In everyday operation, this means that a range of up to 370 kilometers is possible with zero emissions and the battery can also be recharged via the fuel cell system.

In this way, the hydrogen technology in the Kangoo Z.E. Maxi Hydrogen functions as a range extender for electromobility, which makes new applications interesting for delivery services.

Eight public service stations from 2021
The practical features of the Renault Kangoo Z.E. Maxi with two seats are as usual in the hydrogen-electric version with a cargo space of 3.9 cubic meters and a payload of 477 kilos. This makes the Frenchman particularly suitable for transport in the city. More details in the gallery.

In Switzerland, eight public filling stations offering green hydrogen (H2 Zero) will be available from the beginning of 2021. Hydrogen is refueled at 700 bar.

Subsidies for electrified vehicles
The new Renault Kangoo Z.E. Maxi Hydrogen can be ordered now from all Renault agencies in Switzerland. The first vehicles are scheduled to arrive in November 2020. The price for fleet operators, companies and municipalities is 72,500 Swiss francs excluding VAT.

This price does not take into account the varying levels of subsidies for electric vehicles in Switzerland.

Top speed of 130 km/h
The 33 kWh battery of the Kangoo Z.E. Maxi provides a range of 214 kilometers. It can be charged at the 3.7 kW wallbox in eleven hours or at the household socket in 16 hours. With the 44kW (60 hp) electric motor, the top speed is 130 km/h.

A tank of gas is available for 20 francs
The additional hydrogen fuel cell system also supplies the electric motor or charges the battery when the vehicle is stationary. This increases the electric range by around 150 kilometers.

A tank of gas currently costs around 20 francs in Switzerland (Coop Hunzenschwil and AVIA St. Gallen).
