Porsche: The 911 for purists 🎥

LEICHTBAU Porsche is adding the lightweight 911 Carrera T to the 911 family. The letter T stands for Touring and identifies models that offer a particularly purist driving experience with sporty equipment.

The new Porsche 911 Carrera T is equipped with a 7-speed manual transmission as standard, with an 8-speed PDK available as an option. There are no rear seats, and with the sports suspension with its 10-millimeter lowering and reduced damping, the Carrera T stands for purism in every respect. The sound of the six-cylinder boxer engine penetrates even more strikingly into the interior.

911 Carrera T
The 911 Carrera T doesn't lug around any unnecessary loads. On the other hand, there is no lack of sporty equipment.

Specific equipment features
From the entry-level Carrera, the Carrera T inherits the biturbo engine with 385 hp and 450 Nm, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and go as fast as 291 km/h. From the Carrera S with manual transmission, torque vectoring with mechanical rear-axle cross-lock is added, and the Sport Chrono package also comes as standard.

The T-specific equipment features also include the titanium gray Carrera S wheels with 245/35 ZR 20 (front) and 305/30 ZR 21 (rear) tires. In addition, the 911 Carrera T is equipped with GT sports steering wheel, sports exhaust system and the Sports seats Plus. At 1470 kilograms, the Carrera T is the lightest production 911 in the base engine version.

Four-way Sport Seats Plus as standard
The sporty focus of the vehicle is characterized in the interior by the standard four-way Plus sports seats. Decorative trim in matte black and decorative inlays in high-gloss black round off the T interior. The floor mats optionally feature lettering and stitching in the contrasting colors lizard green or slate gray.

The Carrera T Interior package is also optionally available with extended leather upholstery. The armrests of the door panels and the center console are then covered in leather, as are the upper sections of the switch panel and the door panels.

The Porsche 911 Carrera T will go on sale at the end of February 2023 at prices starting at 150,000 Swiss francs.
