Lamborghini: Tecnica launches in the States 🎥

SPORT CAR ICON Lamborghini unveils the new Huracán Tecnica model at the New York International Auto Show. The new model kicks off a year in which the Italians have posted record sales and profitability figures.

With a total of 2472 vehicles delivered in 2021 - eleven percent more than in 2020 - the U.S. is Lamborghini's largest single market. That's why Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, unveiled the new Huracán model Tecnica at a private event ahead of the auto show, which runs through April 24.

With the Tecnica variant, the Huracan has been trimmed even further in the direction of sportiness.

Rear-wheel drive, V10 engine and 640 hp
The Huracan Tecnica's 5-liter V10 engine comes from the Huracán STO model and delivers 640 hp, 30 hp more than in the Huracan Evo RWD. With maximum torque of 565 Nm at 6500 rpm, the Tecnica accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.

Other technical highlights of the lightweight Tecnica, driven only by the rear wheels, include recalibrated driving dynamics modes, optimized brake cooling and rear-wheel steering.

Advanced evolution of the Huracan

Stephan Winkelmann: "The Tecnica represents an advanced evolution of the Huracán with outstanding aerodynamics. In this way, it achieves even better performance, stability and ease of use. These qualities make it an all-rounder on the road and on the racetrack."
