The entry price for the new C3 starts at 16,990 Swiss francs for the gasoline engine with 83 hp.

The lower transverse slat at the front now points downward, creating a link to the headlights. These have an adapted shape and they work with LED technology.

The air bumps (the small pads on the sides to prevent parking bumps) are now larger and fewer in number. In addition, there are attractive 16- or 17-inch aluminum wheels, depending on the model.

With new combinations of colors, designs and decors, there are 97 possibilities for personalization. Please see the gallery.

Comfort comes first with the C3
The first seat test. This is where the Citroƫn DNA becomes tangible. Comfort comes first. While the seats of other manufacturers are becoming tighter and tighter, in the new C3 it's the other way around. And that feels good.

The new Advanced Comfort seats are easy to adjust in height, provide good support and support the lumbar vertebrae, a real plus. It's like sitting on a sofa chair at home. Everything is extremely comfortable and relaxing.

The design of the materials and colors harmonizes perfectly. The interior is generous, especially in terms of legroom. You immediately feel right at home.

Two gasoline engines and one compression ignition engine
The powertrain range offers the 3-cylinder PureTech 1.2 with 83 hp and five-speed manual transmission (from 16,990 Swiss francs), the PureTech 1.2 with 110 hp with six-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic (from 24,200 Swiss francs), and the BlueHDi 100 with four cylinders, 1.5 liter displacement and five-speed manual transmission (from 24,200 Swiss francs).

AutoSprint CH was on the road with the 1.2 Shine Pure Tech 110 with the six-speed automatic. The model is available from 26,200 francs.

C3
Compared to its predecessor, the C3 offers numerous improvements and more comfort.

City runabout with powerful drive
In this combination, the Frenchman is a nippy city runabout with a powerful engine. The trio of cylinders performs its work in a refined and pleasantly quiet manner. The car hangs on to the throttle well. Fast sprints are really fun and on the country road you can relax. Of course, this also has to do with the smooth-shifting automatic transmission.

The assistants in the new C3 include traffic sign recognition, a high-beam assistant, a rear-view camera, a lane departure warning system and a blind spot warning system. With the comfort and safety equipment and a total of twelve driving aids, I manage to park easily and safely.

Alternative in the small car segment
The new C3 is a sweet, small yet confident personality in the lifestyle small car segment. The striking design with the bold front end and the colorful accent of the fog lights conjure up a smile on the face...

Space and comfort are among the clear strengths of the Frenchman. Its French charm, design, equipment and driving comfort are convincing.

The only drawback is that it rolls back a bit when starting on a slope. We'll probably have to practice a bit more.
