Aston Martin: Supertourer still with V8 power 🎥

DYNAMIC AND ELEGANT With the new DB12, Aston Martin once again aims to set standards in terms of drive performance, design and luxury equipment. As before, the classic supertourer is powered by a 4-liter V8 biturbo engine.

The announcement of the DB12 comes in a year when Aston Martin is celebrating not only the 110th anniversary of the company, but also the 75th anniversary of the DB model range. According to the manufacturer, the new generation of the legendary DB model series represents a further step forward in terms of sportiness and dynamics.

Top speed 325 km/h

The DB12 is equipped with a 4-liter V8 biturbo gasoline engine that delivers 800 Nm between 2750 and 6000 rpm and 680 hp at 6000 rpm. Numerous technical highlights such as the new suspension system with adaptive shock absorbers, the electronic rear differential and the 21-inch Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S tires ensure that the power can be optimally transferred to the road.

The limits of grip and traction can be gradually and safely explored with a newly designed stability control system and five driving modes. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.6 seconds, and the top speed is 325 km/h.

Carbon ceramic brake as an option

Power is transmitted via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The shortened axle ratio and special transmission tuning ensure even more powerful acceleration, and gear changes are now even faster. In addition, the bonded new aluminum structure of the DB12 has seven percent greater torsional stiffness, and the electronic power steering has been perfected. The DB12 is optionally available with carbon ceramic brakes, which reduce brake fade and save 27 kilograms of unsprung mass compared to the standard brake system.

Bowers & Wilkins sound system

The DB12 features an all-new interior. Aston Martin's bespoke infotainment system includes a range of connectivity technologies as well as the surround sound system from audio partner Bowers & Wilkins. Naturally, high-quality v erishing and fine materials are also on offer. Deliveries from the second half of the year, prices are not yet known.
