Alfa Romeo: Tonale for the socket first as Veloce
TRADITION Alfa Romeo demonstrates particularly efficient sportiness with the Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4. For the market launch in Switzerland, the plug-in Tonale is available in the particularly enticing Veloce version.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4 is the new top model in the range. The Veloce version is available to order from dealers now. This will be followed by another version, the TI, from the second quarter. The Tonale Plug-In Hybrid Q4 is the brand's most efficient model to date. Thanks to its 15.5 kWh battery, its purely electric operating range is up to 80 kilometers. The battery is fully charged in less than two and a half hours with a charging current of up to 7.4 kW.
Optimum traction and driving safety
The powertrain of the new Tonale Q4 produces a system output of 206 kW (280 hp). The hybrid system combines a 1.3-liter turbo gasoline engine (180 hp) with an electric motor (90 kW). The combustion engine is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission and drives the front axle, while the electric motor provides propulsion at the rear axle.
The four-wheel drive Q4 thus guarantees optimum traction and driving safety. The Tonale Q4 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, its top speed is 135 km/h in purely electric mode or 206 km/h in hybrid mode.
Equipment fulfills almost all wishes
But the new model also sets standards in terms of comfort, quality, spaciousness and noise insulation. Drive and connectivity technology make the new model the most innovative Alfa Romeo to date. Its interior offers four seats, numerous storage compartments and an easy-to-use trunk with a low loading sill and electrically opening tailgate.
Dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, front seats with heating and ventilation, and a premium sound system from Harman Kardon with 14 speakers ensure pleasant comfort on board and fulfill almost all wishes. The Tonale Q4 PHEV is priced at 64,900 Swiss francs (Veloce) and 61,900 Swiss francs (TI).
