A unique opportunity: as winner of the Clio R3T European Trophy, Michaël Burri will be the first Swiss rally driver to compete in six rounds of the FIA WRC 3 World Rally Championship in an official factory team. Renault Sport Technologies is fielding a Clio R3T for the fast team.
By winning the Rally Monte-Carlo in the Clio R3T European Trophy category alone, Michaël Burri and co-driver Anderson Levratti added a prestigious title to their long palmarès. In the overall Clio R3T European classification, the points from the Rally Monte-Carlo were enough for second place.
The participation in the FIA WRC 3 (World Rally Championship) rally world championship is with a Renault Clio R3T entered by Renault Sport Technologies. This is a first not only for the fast driver, but for Swiss rallying as a whole. The result came about not least thanks to the commitment with which Renault Suisse SA has been promoting and supporting young talent in Swiss rallying for many years.
Strong performance by Olivier Courtois - Hubert Risser
The second team of the Clio R3T Alps Trophy, Olivier Courtois with co-driver Hubert Risser, also shone with a great performance at the Rally Monte-Carlo. Although the Alsatians were set back by a puncture right at the start, they kept up the pace and achieved remarkable times. The result: After Luca Rossetti's disqualification, they were able to secure third place on the Clio R3T European Trophy podium for themselves and their team at the Rally Monte-Carlo.
