The fourth of six rounds of the Swiss Kart Championship sponsored by autobau will once again be held close to the Swiss border. Less than two hours' drive from the Swiss border near Basel or Porrentruy, the track in Vesoul, France, is fast and places high demands on the drivers' technique and driving skills. The five SKM classes - KZ2, Iame X30 Challenge Switzerland, Iame X30 Junior, OK Senior and Supermini - will each have five timed practice sessions and three races on Sunday, June 19; the Sunday program therefore comprises 15 races lasting between 10 and 20 minutes. The kart track is located not far from the center of Vesoul.

Will the speedy Isabelle von Lerber strike back this time?
In the premier class of the KZ2 shift karts, the men's world has been back in order since the last race. Isabelle von Lerber took her first major victory at the first of the two home races in Lignières and thus took the lead in the SKM standings. In the last race in Mirecourt, however, the rider from Bern only finished in 6th place and had to relinquish the lead to Loic Vindice. André Reinhard also overtook Isabelle von Lerber in the overall standings. But the fast lady and Paul Hökfelt are only a few points behind.
