KW Automotive: Desert and track fully under control 🎥
ON THE OVERTAKING TRACK Porsche and BMW motorsport customers from KW Automotive celebrated a spectacular triple victory in Dubai. At the 2023 Dakar Rally, the Reiger offroad teams left the competition well behind.
It could not have gone better. In its first official race appearance, the new BMW M4 GT4 with KW dampers Solid Piston finished on the podium. And even more spectacular is the success of the GT3 customers homologated with KW dampers V6 Racing at the Dubai 24 Hours: first place went to Team WRT with BMW M4 GT3 (#7), second place went to Herberth Motorsport with Porsche 911 GT3 (#91) and third place went to the second WRT BMW M4 GT3 (#46).
Strenuous ride through the desert
The 2023 Dakar Rally turned into actual Reiger festivals. Whether overall victory or in the top 3 of their class: at the toughest off-road race in the world, which was held from December 31, 2022 to January 15, 2023, Reiger Suspension's off-road customers were in a class of their own. Nasser Al-Attiyah (#200) took the overall victory ahead of Sebastien Loeb (#201) and Lucas Moraes (#230). Other first places were achieved by Austin Jones (#303 in the T3 Lightweight Prototype group, as well as Eryk Goczal (#428) in the T4 Modified Production SSV category and Janus van Kasteren (#502) in the Trucks.
Coilovers for M models
For all BMW M3 and M4 with or without all-wheel drive KW has coilovers in the program. For the BMW M3 Competition Touring, which has only been available since November 2022, the KW V4 was developed. This gives the M3 Touring to some extent the driving dynamics of the M4 GTS and in addition a sporty appearance with plenty of reserves in handling and ride comfort.
