Karting championship: Who are the champions in 2023?

Next Saturday, September 30, the eagerly awaited final of the autobau Swiss Kart Championship 2023 will take place in Wohlen. With the emphasis on suspense. Because the decisions in all five categories are still open. A total of 18 drivers still have a chance of winning the title.
Head start for Ethan Frigomosca
Ethan Frigomosca has the biggest lead before the last race in the switch karts with 47 points. Albert Tamm (Super Mini) and Pascal von Allmen (OK Senior) have the smallest cushions with six points each. So nothing stands in the way of a breath-taking showdown.
Plastic lane divider
About the track: Last year, the Wohlen kart track celebrated its 60th anniversary. For this season, the 825-meter track, the shortest in the autobau Swiss Kart Championship calendar, was renovated. The notorious sand hills have disappeared, also some (diseased) trees were cut down for safety reasons. The new plastic lane dividers are striking. As well as the fresh pavement, which was repaired again in July. Tests have shown that lap times are at least two seconds below the 2022 bests.
