The Emil Frey Racing team wants to deliver top results again at Hockenheim.

The Emil Frey Racing team travels to Hockenheim highly motivated and wants to build on the podium results of recent races. For the GT3 Championship, it will be the second visit to the 4.5-kilometer circuit, but the Sprint Cup will be there for the first time. While the Motodrom provides a great overview of the racing action and is a point of attraction for the fans, the wide track offers many good overtaking opportunities.

Currently in fifth place

After four sprint races, Emil Frey Racing is currently fifth in the Sprint Cup standings with 30 points. However, with only 20.5 points behind the leading team, anything is still possible. In the drivers' standings, the driver pairings of Giacomo Altoé/Konsta Lappalainen (#14) and Albert Costa Balboa/Thierry Vermeulen (#69) are in 6th and 7th place. The number 14 Ferrari in particular is in a promising position, just six points behind second place.

The race weekend begins on Friday with free practice at 9:30 am. Pre-qualifying follows in the afternoon at 14:20. On Saturday, the 25-minute timed practice for the first race will take place at 9:50 a.m., followed by the same day's race at 2:00 p.m. On Sunday, practice begins at 9:55 a.m., with the one-hour race at 2:35 p.m.

The goal is a solid top-10 result

Lorenz Frey-Hilti, Team Principal: "We were already able to test the Ferrari at Hockenheim and got on well with the track. On the long straights, of course, it depends again on which BoP classification we get. We always aim for a win, but we're also realistic that this is often very difficult, so we're also happy with solid top-10 results."
