FORMULA & OFFROAD EXPERIENCE The team around professional racing driver and event organizer Fredy Barth has developed two new projects for individual customers. They are aimed at sporty and adventurous drivers. If you don't just want to participate in a trackday of Fredy Barth - Motorsport & Events with your own car, but want to experience a real race feeling, you can do so with [...].

Until now, the Formula Experience was only available as a corporate event for groups. Now Fredy Barth's team (far left) also organizes them for individual customers.

If you don't just want to take your own car to a trackday organized by Fredy Barth - Motorsport & Events, but would like to experience the real race feeling for once, you'll get your money's worth at the Formula Experience. The team provides six formula racing cars, in which motor sport enthusiasts and beginners can sit down and accelerate on a closed circuit under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Springboard for later racing professionals
Ralf Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg, Sébastien Buemi and many more once earned their first spurs in motor racing with these small racing cars. Weighing just 455 kilograms, the monoposti with carbon monocoque are powered by 1200cc motorcycle engines and accelerate to 100 km/h in less than four seconds. Power is transmitted to the rear axle via a sequential six-speed transmission. The tires are treadless Hankook slicks.

Race track near the Swiss border
The race is held on the Anneau du Rhin (Rhine Ring) in Alsace. With only a 30-minute drive from Basel, the private race track is ideal for such events with a compact schedule. The Formula Experience takes place on the 1.1-kilometer training variant, which also offers beginners the best possible safety.

Drifting in the dirt
Those who like it bumpy and cross will have special fun at the Offroad Experience. After Fredy Barth had used his FunBoosts for years at winter events on ice and snow, the offer is now extended with driving opportunities on gravel tracks. The 130-horsepower, 350-kilo racing cars offer an adventurous driving experience on loose surfaces in the Anneau du Rhin area.

As has been the case for years with the courses on ice and snow, the FunBoosts are also great fun on gravel.

Alternately, the participants also drive the gravel course with quads. While a clean and efficient line is appropriate with the formula racing car, the FunBoosts and quads can be used to drift and rob to their heart's content.

Two events in summer
The public events will take place on June 6, 2020 in the evening and on September 12, 2020 in the morning and afternoon. They can be booked by individuals or groups. The Offroad Experience costs 590 Swiss francs and the Formula Experience 990 Swiss francs. Both packages include equipment rental, drinks, snacks and a final aperitif for all participants.

The schedule and all further information can be found on the homepage of Fredy Barth Motorsport & Events. The schedule is coordinated so that both event packages can be combined with a discount of 100 Swiss francs - in terms of price, real motorsport can hardly be more attractive.

Individuals are now allowed to drive the FunBoost race cars around on the specially created gravel track in Alsace.
