Volvo: XC90 in the showroom from 1387 snow blocks
Volvo Car Switzerland AG opened the world's largest snow igloo in Zermatt to mark the 20th anniversary of the Swiss Igloo Villages. As the world's highest Volvo showroom, this houses the new XC90 at 2727 meters above sea level. The igloo has a diameter of thirteen meters and an interior height of ten and a half meters and consists of almost 1387 snow blocks. Highlights of the grand opening included an appearance by Volvo ambassador Marc Sway and an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. The showroom is open to the public until the end of the winter season.
