But the Auerswald family is not the only one who is convinced by the little off-road Japanese car. As part of the opening of the New York International Auto Show, the closing ceremony for the crowning of the World Car Awards also took place. The Suzuki Jimny was named the "2019 World Urban Car" (AutoSprintCH reported).
World Car Design of the Year
For the third year in a row, a Suzuki vehicle was among the "Top Three in the World" finalists in the World Urban Car category. This year, the Jimny was also among the top three in the "World Car Design of the Year" category.
