Porsche: 911 Carrera for the wrist 🎥

FAHRZEIT Porsche Design presented new variants of the Porsche Design 911 Chronograph Timeless Machine as limited editions at this year's Baselworld jewelry and watch fair (until March 26).

Since the founding of the Design Studio in 1972, the watches from the design forge of Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, son of the legendary Ferry Porsche who died in 2012, have been based on the car models from Zuffenhausen. The watches should always show the heritage of the name, should be sporty like their four-wheeled models and yet just as classic and enduringly beautiful.

Sapphire crystal watch back
The lightweight construction principle from Porsche's engine construction leads to the use of titanium for the case of Porsche Design watches, which is both robust and skin-friendly. The watch back is made of sapphire crystal, so that you can see the movement, a distinct advantage over the sports cars, where you can no longer see into the engine compartment for a long time, unless you help with the service in the garage!
Analogous to the vehicle cockpit, the indices are white on a black background, while special features such as the totalizers and the central seconds hand are designed in red.

911 piece to the new model
Currently there is a watch limited to 911 pieces to match the new Porsche 911 Carrera, the name Timeless Machine, of course, also refers to the car whose silhouette is depicted on the dial.
The design principle of Porsche Design watches is otherwise always the same: The leather strap is crafted from the same leather and yarn as the seats in the Porsche. If you hurry, you can choose the limitation number online, the Porsche 911 Chronograph Timeless Machine Limited Edition watch comes in a limited edition box and is delivered with a model car of the new 911 (992) Carrera in 1:43 scale.
