A hand-built McLaren Senna takes around 300 hours of work at the production plant in Woking. Its price is over one million francs, and all 500 vehicles have already been sold.
McLaren and Senna fans can now build their own super sports car and have to spend significantly less time and money on it. Following the P1 and the 720S, Lego is also bringing the McLaren Senna onto the toy market as a Speed Champions Edition. The model measures 15 centimeters and consists of 219 building blocks.
Detailed components
As the video shows, the Lego developers paid attention to details. These include the front splitter, the diffuser and the rear wing. Without these aerodynamic parts, even the real McLaren Senna would not be fun to drive.
The snorkel on the roof and even a wind tunnel with rotating fan are also not missing. In addition, it has a cockpit for a minifigure, a removable windshield, interchangeable rims and stickers with the logos of McLaren and Senna.
In Switzerland, the McLaren Senna as a Lego model is easiest to order online. The price is Fr. 19.90.- plus shipping costs.
